Sunday sermon recap ‘Tithing’
Sunday 13/10/19, Morning service
Preacher: Arch Bishop Makutsoane
Title: Tithing
Scriptures: Leviticus 27:30, Haggai 1:3-7
Many people hear God’s Word, but they do not hear it in terms of being obedient to it. There is no command of God that is forced on a person. All commands can be obeyed out of one’s freewill, that is, one obeys God’s commands because they love and hear God.
God has His own ways. His commands give us direction, and are sweet to the ears of one how is keen and zealous of hearing them. They are for our own good.
A person’s life is not dependent on his/her income, but is dependent on God’s grace upon their life. A person budgeting on their own won’t be the same as them budgeting with God.
The problem is the state of our heart.
There is no pain, sickness, insult that God cannot deal with and remove.
The Lord is God of those that hear and obey Him, and those that trust in Him.
Amen.
